Snow Shoveling Tips

Winter is upon us and with that comes snow. Here are a few tips to help keep your back safe while shoveling.
- Use a plastic shovel. They are light and snow slides off easily.
- Don't twist and throw snow. This will reduce the strain on your back.
- Try to push the snow rather than lift it.
- If you have to lift the snow, make sure you bend your knees and waist, and use your legs! This will reduce the strain on your low back.

Good advice! I should have followed it more closely. I was out today cleaning up snow piles in the driveway and now my low back is sore. I will definitely be seeing you next week!
